3.3 Session State

Certain interactive features require temporary session-related information to remain available while an interaction is active.

Session-related information is retained only for as long as necessary to support the active interaction and is removed when it is no longer required.

4.1 Providing the Service

execute User-requested slash commands;

4.2 Permission Validation

The Service uses Discord identifiers to determine whether a User is authorised to access specific functionality.
Permission validation may include the processing of Discord User IDs, Role IDs, Guild IDs and other identifiers required to enforce access restrictions configured by the Provider.

4.3 Interactive Features

For interactive applications, the Service uses session-related information to:

maintain the current state of an interaction;
identify participating Users;
associate Users with active interactive sessions;
prevent duplicate or conflicting sessions;
support the proper operation of interactive features until the interaction has concluded.

prevent abuse, misuse and unauthorised use;

4.5 Maintenance and Reliability

5.1 Command Processing

Information processed as part of slash command execution is generally retained only for the duration necessary to process the requested command and generate the corresponding response.
Unless otherwise required for an active interactive feature or technical diagnostics, such information is not intentionally retained after command processing has been completed.

5.2 Interactive Features

Information required to support interactive features may be retained for the duration of the active interaction.
Once the interaction has concluded or is otherwise terminated, the associated session-related information is removed when it is no longer required for the operation of the Service.
